About ServiceMaster Restore of Hamilton

Hamilton is a city that has always known how to rebuild. Forged in steel, tested by time and driven by a community that does not quit, this city has a character that runs deep. For over 20 years, ServiceMaster Restore of Hamilton has carried those same values into every job we take on.

We have stood beside more than 15,000 homeowners and businesses across Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Waterdown, Caledonia and the surrounding communities through some of their hardest moments. Water damage, fire, smoke, mould, reconstruction. Whatever the loss, we bring the strength, the skill and the care to see you through it.

Our IICRC certified team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year because when something goes wrong, waiting is not an option. We show up fast, we communicate clearly and we work until the job is done right.

This is not just what we do. It is who we are. A Hamilton team, built on Hamilton values, restoring Hamilton properties one family and one business at a time.

David Kerry

David Kerry
President

David Kerry
President

David has spent over two decades building his career in restoration, starting in an entry level role and working his way up through technician and project management positions before eventually taking ownership of ServiceMaster Restore of Hamilton.

What has kept him in this industry for over two decades is not just the technical work, it is the transformation he gets to witness. David has walked into countless homes and businesses where people are distressed, overwhelmed and unsure of what comes next, and he has walked back out once the job is done having helped turn that fear into relief. For David, this work goes beyond fixing a property. It is about connecting with someone's pain, understanding what their space means to them, and helping them through one of the harder moments in their life.

Outside of work, David is a vintage car enthusiast and an active member of a local car club.

After more than 20 years in Hamilton, this city is not just where David works. It is where he belongs.

Lorraine Nicol

Lorraine Nicol
Compliance Coordinator

Lorraine Nicol
Compliance Coordinator

As Compliance Coordinator, Lorraine is the steady hand behind the scenes that keeps every claim moving the way adjusters and carriers expect. She monitors job progress against insurance portal timelines, ensures estimates and notes are submitted on schedule, and keeps communication flowing so adjusters are never left chasing updates. For Lorraine, this work is about consistency and accountability, making sure every job opens, progresses and closes the way it should.

Lorraine is a lifelong Hamilton resident, born and raised here, with her family, friends and career all rooted in this city. She takes real pride in doing her job well, and one moment stands out to her: an adjuster once took the time to thank her directly for the consistent updates and communication she provided throughout a claim. It is a small thing, but it is exactly the kind of reliability she brings to every file.

Administrative Assistant

Aiza Barahona has five years of restoration experience and brings that experience to a role that touches nearly every part of how ServiceMaster Restore of Hamilton runs day to day. She supports the team internally across a wide range of administrative work, and she is often the first voice a homeowner hears during a catastrophe event, sometimes before anyone else from the team has arrived on site. In that moment, she meets people with the empathy and calm reassurance that someone in crisis needs most. What she loves most about restoration is the unpredictability of it, no two days, and no two calls, are ever quite the same.

Restoration Technician

Laz brings over 15 years of carpentry and reconstruction experience to the restoration work he does throughout the Hamilton area. What drives him is the transformation he gets to witness on every job, walking into a home where a family is distraught and confused, and walking out once the work is done with that same family calm, relieved and grateful. That shift is what makes the job worth it for Laz.

Frank Ashbier
Restoration Technician

Frank understands something that not everyone in this industry takes the time to consider: a home is not just a structure. It is where life happens, where memories are made, where people feel safe. When that space is damaged or disrupted, the emotional weight of it is real, and Frank feels that weight every time he walks onto a job. With five years in restoration and ten years calling Hamilton home, Frank brings both technical experience and genuine care to every project he takes on. He loves the full scope of restoration work, every phase, every type of loss, because for Frank it all comes back to the same thing: helping someone reclaim the place and peace that matters most to them.
